Concern Regarding Product Side Effects

I would like to raise an issue regarding the potential side effects of your product. I have only used it twice, but each time I added the Calm Power, as instructed, to a bowl of water for my dog to drink. He drank it but vomited immediately afterwards.

Unfortunately, he also had a severe reaction in the following days, including runny, sticky stools that made a mess as he dragged them around the house and on the carpet. I could tell how uncomfortable he was.

I was hoping that this product would help calm him down, but it has not been a positive experience. I believe you need to reconsider the suitability of your product for small dogs with sensitive stomachs, like mine, and should avoid advertising it as universally safe.

Calm+Relax

Well, I had lots of recommendations for this product however, my fella's not having a bar of it. There is nothing I can do to get him to eat or drink the stuff. I have only been trying the Joint powder but I believe the tasty barbecue sausage is the same flavour in both? He takes pills pretty well so perhaps a capsule option would work?

I am on to the second tin of calm and relax. Sometimes I think it helps and others I think this is not doing anything. So, I will persevere a bit longer and I hope it will work in the end.

Gabriel, Nectar's founder here - thanks firstly for taking the time to write your review. In our home, we've come to rely on Calm+Relax for Willow our (nearly) 6 year old Vizsla - she's just a much more relaxed dog (we took a break from giving it to her for a month or so).

A calmer dog

I wish I’d looked up ashwaghanda for dogs sooner. I’d only had my 2 yr old border collie a few months when we were asssaulted with 5 months of construction work next door. It drove her crazy, running back and forth along the fence, as she had when she spent 6 months in a shelter. Nothing I tried made a difference.
I’d taken ashwarghanda myself, so I was pleased to find an Australian product that looked safe and trustworthy.
After 2 weeks she had calmed right down. I can’t honestly say it was all due to Nectar, as the work had finished, but I’ve no doubt at all it has helped as she’s a very different dog.
I would note that she had some loose stools in the beginning, getting me up at night, and I found that was a possible side-effect. I’d been giving half the daily dose twice a day, but reduced it to just morning and all was fine.
